DesignerCon 2025 Recap

House of Gog kicked things off with a classic Vegas moment: checking in while navigating a maze of slot machines and nicotine smoke. Somehow, no money was lost to roulette, and the team made it to the room unscathed.
Our booth at DesignerCon was perfectly placed next to some of their favorites. Jesse Hernandez, the urban Aztec art God, was our closest neighbor. Though we had met before, this was the first time for a proper, unhurried connection. He proved to be not just an incredible artist but also a true gentleman. A few steps down, David Igo (igostuff kaijudoom) held the creative fort for ACRO alongside his Japanese counterpart, Kaz. That row carried serious energy and a strong dose of humor all weekend.
We ended up breaking Japanese protocol and embraced Kaz with a healthy dose of Québecois brotherly love.
Throughout the show, the team connected with collectors, artists, and longtime supporters of House of Gog. Some OG collectors stopped by to share stories about their pieces, a humbling and energizing reminder of why the work matters.
The team also had the chance to bond (and eat doughnuts) with creative mastermind, David Igo. What a guy!
Conversations ran deep with artists like Christopher Ulrich, who gave a sneak peek at his upcoming comic book and a lecture on the Occult, and N.C. Winters, sparking an open-minded discussion about art and technology. We also caught up with legends like Papa Meat (meatcanyon) and James Groman, and old friends including Nick Fung, former Knight of the Slice; Mitch, helping out Punk Drunkers; and the mighty Todd, with whom we “realigned” on U.S. politics. Some of these chats stretched late into the night.
Friday brought Punk Drunkers’ karaoke session: a highlight of the weekend and an instant classic. Presented by Creature Bazaar.
Saturday was all about filet mignon with Groman, Jesse, David Igo, Kaz, the Mondo crew and the wives. Triple filtered Vegas tap water was flowing.
Back at the HOG booth, Brent Ashe’s CEREMONY drew crowds with its unique design, strong presence, and top-tier packaging. Skinner’s Xalbaga, The Cat God was a fan favorite, and Pascal Blanché’s retro sci-fi style left many asking for more (and yes, more is coming!).
The praise we received was almost too much to handle, thank you! And a huge thanks to the incredible artists we’re lucky to work with.
A rare highlight: both House of Gog cofounders, P-A and Hugues Martel, were present at the same event. Hugues showcased new Daytoner works with Pure Arts, giving the team a chance to connect in a way they rarely do.
DesignerCon reminded everyone why we do what we do: art, artists, collectors, and community united with a shared passion.
Thanks to all the fans, friends, and collectors who stopped by. It was a weekend to remember.
See you all next year.
