Neksis Vorn Raw: The 3D Print

++

The 3D print phase is a critical part of every project. It’s the cornerstone of our process, giving shape to the concept and serving as the foundation for everything that follows. From this raw print, we create the molds used for our hand-cast production pieces. The same print is later painted with precision and care to become the master prototype; the reference that guides the look and finish of the entire edition.

At this stage, the piece is stripped down to its pure form. Free of paint, it reveals the sculpt in its most direct state. Every curve, line, and surface detail is on display, showing the design choices that bring Brent Ashe’s vision of Ceremony – The Corruption of Neksis Vorn to life. It’s a fascinating moment in the process: the statue exists as a physical object, yet it’s not complete. It’s potential captured in resin.

This is also the point where collaboration becomes tangible. Brent Ashe’s design, art direction, paired with advanced 3D printing technology come together to produce something real that can be held, studied, and refined. From there, the expertise of our artisans takes over. Using the print as a base, they sculpt adjustments, build molds, hand-cast each production piece, and finally apply paint to achieve the high level of craftsmanship we stand for.

The Ceremony statue is more than a finished collectible. It’s the result of a chain of steps, each one building on the last: design, print, mold, cast, paint. The 3D print is the first physical step in that chain, the bridge between digital creation and traditional artistry. Without it, the piece could not exist as it does.

For us at House of Gog, this stage is more than technical. It embodies our approach: a balance of art, craft, and technology, executed by some of the best statue artisans in the industry. Every detail you see in the final piece traces back to that raw, unpainted print.

The final statue of Ceremony – The Corruption of Neksis Vorn is a showcase of world-class design and craftsmanship, and it all starts here.
